Ninety years of pride…show it to the world
His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, in his name and on behalf of the University’s employees and students, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence – may God preserve them- and the honorable Saudi people on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 90th National Day.
His Excellency said: Ninety years of sacrifices, construction and development, of pride in our country, unique in its unity, and great in its positions and achievements. For ninety years we have shown our mettle to the world since His Majesty King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud – may God rest his soul – formulated an unparalleled historical plan that established our homeland. It was when he and his loyal men fought the battles of monotheism, so that the homeland would be firm in hearts and would have a glorious life for its citizens.
Ninety years and the nation, under its wise leadership and its loyal sons, does not know the impossible and does not believe in the impossible or in half solutions in order to preserve its security and its national treasures.
Ninety years is an eternal memory, before which we stand today to draw inspiration from the great achievement, thanks to God and make every effort to strive for the good of the country and defend it under any circumstance and manner.
The memory of the National Day descends upon us this year and the country continues its great march of construction and development under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and with the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence – may God protect them. We are known around the world for our wise leadership, which made the Saudi people to focus their attention and concern on their country and extend that care to all humankind by spreading the message of Islam and peace and supporting just causes. As much as we are proud of our history, let us be proud today of our homeland Saudi Arabia, our loyalty to our leaders, our belonging to our country, and our battle with all manifestations of extremism and its destructive ideas.
We live today in this prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques shall witness great achievements through the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The Kingdom has been classified by the World Bank as the most advanced and first reformer among (190) countries in the world, and all of this reflects the keenness of our leadership – may God support it – to create a new and diversified economy rapidly in the developing world. In order to ensure a comfortable life for citizens by preparing young men and women for the labor market, creating more job opportunities in all the sectors, and empowering Saudi women.
Despite the circumstances imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic, our country has proven its superior ability in managing this crises. Our wise leadership has provided all financial, economic, social and health care support to overcome these exceptional circumstances. The Saudi people have projected a wonderful image of taking responsibility, their commitment to the laws and their solidarity with their leadership, and today the giving continues. The Ministry of Education writes a historical success story by resuming study “remotely” in order to preserve the safety of all members of society from the dangers of the Coronavirus, and to continue the educational journey by launching huge electronic and digital services and platforms that guarantee the quality of education. Through these measure the country has demonstrated to the whole world its ability to innovate and overcome challenges .
In conclusion, I ask God Almighty Almighty for help and success for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to preserve him and His Highness, the faithful Crown Prince, and to perpetuate the blessing of security and prosperity on our homeland.
