Jazan University: Media Department 

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, affirmed that we shall always be keen to prepare University students so they may refine their skills in various co-curricular activities through their local and international participation. He also stated that our students constantly excelling and achieving advanced positions in these local and international events confirms their pursuit of leadership and excellence.

This was at the office of His Excellency today where he felicitated the University football team, for securing second position at the GCC’s Intra-University and institutions of higher education tournament. The tournament in its ninth edition was hosted by Hammad bin Khalifa University in Doha. In addition to the university winning the silver medal, the bronze medal in the 200-meter race was won by the student Fahd Khobrani, while Abdullah Shami won the best player award in the football tournament.

While the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Yahya bin Ali Faqihi, stated that this achievement comes with the grace of God and then with the unlimited support of His Excellency the President of the University for the students and the Deanship of Student Affairs and its student activities at the university, in light of its endeavor to achieve its strategic goals in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. And striving to the achieve the objectives of this vision, that is to develop a vibrant community, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.
