Jazan University: Media Department

The President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, reiterated that the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, towards the achievements of the university and its students is an incentive for them to achieve excellence. His Excellency congratulated the members of the “Taifna” application team. They were winners of social support for humanitarian work and sustainable development track at the Third Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum held in partnership with the United Nations.

His Excellency received today in his office the research team, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Musa Khobrani, the team Supervisor, Dr. Awatef Belobaid, and the team members: Ohood Hussein, Asmaa Hafisi, and Samira Shaami.

His Excellency said that this award confirms the scientific and research efforts that the university promotes, enhancing the concept of scientific innovation and technical creativity among its students, directing His Excellency to activate the award-winning application and allow it to be used nationally and globally after registering its intellectual rights in the name of the University.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Musa Khobrani, appreciated this honor from the President of the University and his unlimited support for the scientific team in particular and for the research efforts at the university in general. While the team supervisor, Dr. Awatef Belobeid, said that the application will contribute to facilitating dealing with autism spectrum disorder, and it has received great interest locally and in the GCC, which confirms the great anticipation to start making it available and to continue developing it as a technical research achievement bearing the name of Jazan University.
