His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, sponsored the lecture "The Future of Education and Jobs of the Future" organized by the university and delivered by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Awad bin Khuzaym Al-Asmari, President of Shaqra University and former Shoura Council member, this morning at the College of Arts and Humanities auditorium, in the presence of university vice-rectors and a number of members Faculty, administrators and university students.

Prof. Al-Asmari spoke during the lecture on four axes that included the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the requirements of future professions, artificial intelligence and the automated teacher in the future of education, the professional skills and certificates needed by the labor market in the future, and the alignment of higher education specializations with the requirements of the labor market.

During the lecture, Al-Asmari touched on the fourth industrial revolution and artificial intelligence, and how to mitigate potential risks to meet the requirements of the future in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, indicating the importance of teaching primary and intermediate students specializations in the fields of business, technology and data science.

Al-Asmari pointed out that universities, institutes and training centers must develop curricula by empowered experts who have the appropriate knowledge and tools for future jobs and specializations, and the importance of reshaping the skills of millions of graduates in line with the requirements of the future labor market.

Al-Asmari said that the future depends on the student obtaining professional certificates and professional documents approved by the best institutions and intensive courses through the website of the Human Resources Office in the Kingdom, which includes most administrative, engineering and medical specializations.

It is noteworthy that His Excellency Professor Dr. Awad bin Khuzaym Al-Asmari held many positions and memberships, as he previously worked as President of Shaqra University and a member of the Shoura Council, and he has more than 45 published research papers and 65 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
