Jazan University launches the "Saudi Foundation Day" exhibition

The Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Yahya Areeshi, inaugurated today, Monday, the "Saudi Foundation Day" exhibition, in the lobby of the College of Business Administration, in the presence of a number of college deans and students.

The exhibition included historical paintings that include details of the establishment of the Saudi state and its capital, Diriyah, and a historical observation of the most prominent imams and kings of the Saudi state, and its historical monuments, in addition to the "heritage market", which includes a number of works of art, textiles and traditional clothing representing the regions of the Kingdom.

Dr. Al-Areeshi praised the efforts made by Jazan University represented by its various faculties, departments, and students in observing the anniversary of the founding day. He stated that the anniversary is observed every year to show the present generations the historical depth and the honorable cultural heritage of the Saudi state.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition was implemented and organized by the Colleges of Pharmacy, Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Medicine, Nursing, Business Administration and the Applied College.
