Media Department: Jazan University 

A training workshop was held this afternoon for the internal audit management team at Jazan University, in order to contribute to providing them with the ability to carry out the tasks entrusted to them efficiently and effectively. For the reason that the Internal Audit department is of utmost importance and is crucial in achieving the University's scientific, research and community goals.

The workshop was presented by the training consultant at the Institute of Public Administration, Eastern Region Branch, Mr. Hassan Al-Nasser. He initiated the training by referring to the general concept of strategic planning and the concept of internal audit, indicating that the concept of internal audit is an independent and objective activity that provides assurances and advisory services with the aim of adding value to the objectives of institutions and raising the quality in the performance of their functions.

At the end of the workshop, Mr. Al-Nasser extended his thanks to His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, for his interest in such urgent issues and his keenness to spread the culture of strategic planning and oversight in the university, which will reflect positively on the university's attainment of advanced positions in quality.
