Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, chaired the University Council meeting in its fifth session for the academic year 1444 AH in the Administrative Tower, in the presence of the Secretary-General for Universities Council Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, and members of the University Council.

The Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Secretary of the University Council, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin, explained that the council took a number of decisions, including: appointing and nominating a number of Saudi faculty members, 36 at the rank of assistant professor, and 7 at the rank of lecturer. 46 teaching assistants and lecturers both male and female have been approved to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees in various specializations, a postgraduate degree has been conferred on one student, approval of study controls and allocation in the health track, and approval of accepting the donation of some parties from outside the university with a number of medical devices for clinics and laboratories of the College of Dentistry. Some other research, academic, administrative and financial topics have been approved.
