Jazan University: Media Department

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the College of Medical Sciences organized the radiology conference at the university, as it is considered one of the medical scientific activities that combine medical programs and exhibitions of medical devices in cooperation with the Department of Radiology at Jazan Health. Radiology is instrumental in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and health issues.

The University participated through lectures and workshops conducted by a group of faculty members in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology Technology, in addition to an awareness stand presenting the vision and mission of the Department of Radiology, its objectives, the scientific research team, and an invitation for researchers to participate in research.

Associate Professor, Department of Radiology Technology, Dr. Nouf Abu Hadi (Dean of the Applied College in Al-Ardah) gave a lecture entitled Protection from Radiation in Nuclear Medicine Departments.

Assistant Professor, Department of Diagnostic Radiology Technology (Head of Department), Dr. Nada Al-Amiri, gave a lecture entitled Radiation Detectors and Dosimeters.

While Assistant Professor Dr. Nayef Majrashi, Dr. Yahya Madkhali, Dr. Wael Aqili, Dr. Ali Al-Yami, Dr. Yahya Madkhali, Dr. Turki Refai and Dr. Nasser Shabeer participated in scientific lectures in different specializations in the field of Diagnostic Radiology.

At the end of the conference, the importance of organizing these seminars was discussed and recommendations were made to keep pace with technological and scientific developments.
