Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Youssef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, met with the leaders of Jazan University this evening in the administrative tower of the University City. His Excellency the University President, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, welcomed His Excellency the Minister and his accompanying delegation.

During his visit to the Academic complex for Female Students at Mahliya, his Excellency the Minister of Education was briefed on the colleges, deanships, and study and training halls it contains. They are: engineering, science, computer science and information technology, design and architecture, and the integrated health program, in addition to 5 supporting deanships, 12 departments, an English language institute, 184 classrooms, 83 laboratories, 20 training and workshop halls, and an auditorium that can accommodate 450 people.

His Excellency the Minister of Education and his accompanying delegation next visited the University Hospital in the University City, where he listened to an explanation about the services currently provided by the hospital through outpatient clinics and consulting clinics that include the departments of internal medicine, surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, emergency care, physiotherapy, rehabilitation medicine, laboratory, pharmacy and radiology. The hospital will launch one-day operations within two months.
