Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani affirmed the University’s keenness to distinguish itself in research, strengthen national and global research partnerships, develop the research capabilities of faculty members, researchers and university students. Our aim is to train the University’s youth to play an active part in responding to the country’s needs by promoting research and developing a culture of innovation.

This came during the inauguration of the "Medical Research Week 2022" organized by the College of Medicine at the Millennium Jazan Hotel from 13-14 November 2022, in the presence of University representatives, speakers, students of health colleges, faculty members and health practitioners.

His Excellency listened to an explanation from the University students participating in the exhibition through research posters that highlight their research experiences in various health colleges.

After that, the program began with a visual presentation entitled “Jazan University… Research Perspectives for Community Service”, followed by a speech by the Dean of the College of Medicine and Chairman of the Executive Committee, Dr. Anwar Makin, in which he affirmed the support of the President of the University for scientific and medical research that enabled the university to lead and excel in the research and publication system.

After that, His Excellency the President honored the speakers and the participating organizational, executive and scientific committees.
