Two doctors from Jazan University were able to save the life of a young man in his twenties after he had met with a traffic accident, and he was transferred to King Fahd Central Hospital in Jazan. The two Saudi doctors from the Faculty of Medicine at Jazan University, Dr. Yahya Khormi, Head of the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and a consultant neurosurgeon, and Dr. Hussam Al-Sha’abi, a faculty member in the Department of Surgery and a consultant vascular surgeon performed the operation. The operation was successful and the patient was then transferred to the intensive care under follow-up and care until his health condition improved and he fully recovered.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine and Executive Director General of the University Hospital at Jazan University, Dr. Anwar Makin, expressed his pride in the faculty’s employees, professors and students. He praised the support of His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and his continuous directives to make every effort to serve the region and the country in general, in a manner that are as per the aspirations of the rational leadership and the directives of His Highness the Governor of Jazan region in the service of the health sector in the region.
