Jazan University jumps 30 places in the British QS rankings

Jazan University has been ranked 91-100 in the QS rankings for the year 2023 among universities in the Arab region, advancing 30 positions since the previous year 2022.

The Dean of Academic Development, Dr. Ali Hindi, explained that the University was honored in the United Arab Emirates by the QS International Organization in the QS Arab Classification Forum, in the presence of the University's Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Rasin.

While the Vice Dean of Academic Development, Dr. Haitham Hadidi, confirmed that the QS classification is based on the criteria that reflect the research and educational aspects, diversity and international presence, educational competencies, research reputation and job creation for each university and its research efforts locally and internationally.

It is noteworthy that Jazan University recently obtained an advanced position globally in the Times University Rankings for the year 2023, being placed between ranks 401-500 globally, and is at rank 7 among Saudi public and private universities.
