Jazan: Media Department

The University Hospital at Jazan University obtained the accreditation and established the Health Volunteer Unit as an extension of the Health Volunteer Center at the Ministry of Health.

The Executive Director of the University Hospital at Jazan University, Dr. Anwar Makin, explained that the accreditation of the Health Volunteer Department at the University Hospital provides opportunities and volunteer hours for university employees and students and groups of society. It also emphasizes the role of the university and its strategic initiatives to contribute effectively to the system of national volunteer work and community empowerment to reach one million volunteers and it is one of the important facets of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Dr. Makin indicated that the permanent support and full care that the University Hospital enjoys from His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, contributed to the University Hospital’s Health Volunteering Department receiving a high rating of (94.5/100) according to the approved standards and indicators. He stressed the distinguished efforts that is made by University Hospital employees in the service of voluntary health work, has been possible with the support of all sectors of the university.
