Jazan University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, organizes a program to prepare new students for the academic year 1444 AH under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, on Sunday at the the College of Computer Science and Information Technology campus.
His Excellency the President of the University welcomed the new students at the beginning of the academic year 1444 AH, congratulating all university employees and students on the commencement of the academic year. He stressed the importance of harnessing all human and technical capabilities to provide student services in an outstanding manner, directing all relevant faculties and sectors of the university to overcome all difficulties faced by students, especially enrolled the freshmen. The counseling and guidance programs should also be intensified to help prepare male and female students to adapt to the new university life.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Yahya bin Ali Faqihi, explained that this program, which is implemented by the Deanship for both male and female sections, aims to introduce new students to the university and the importance of this stage of study in their age, and to explain all aspects related to it, indicating that this program, which starts at the beginning of the week, includes a number of programs. The most important events include explaining the transition to the three semesters, reviewing the cultural and sports programs and activities offered by the student clubs at the Deanship, reviewing all aspects of student regulations and regulations at the university level, and listening to all students’ inquiries and trying to answer them.
Dr. Faqihi stressed the importance of male and female students attending this program, calling upon the students to benefit from the offered programs, wishing them a successful start in their lives and their academic and scientific career.
