Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, praised the outstanding efforts made by the Admission Committee of the Deanship of Admission and Registration in making the admission plan for this year a success.

This came during his reception today of the members of the admission committee at his office, in the presence of the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmed Faqihi, and the Supervisor of the General Department of Public Relations and Media, Mr. Musa Muharraq. His Excellency stressed that the excellence and success of the admission plan for this year signifies the great role played by the members of the admissions committee in preparing and implementing the strategies, and their keenness in the application of transparency and impartiality, and the employment of techniques in all stages of admissions.

For his part, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmed Faqihi, valued this appreciation by His Excellency the President of the University, and his keenness to follow up on all developments in the admission process and his unlimited support for the Deanship, adding that the admission plan for this year was in line with the three-semester system, and also witnessed the acceptance of new colleges and specializations.

Dr. Faqihi, stated that the university received 23,663 online applications, and more than 11,000 male and female students were accepted in the various specializations, departments and degrees of the university.
