Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University Council held its eighth session for the academic year 1443 AH, headed by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, in the University Council Hall in the Administrative Tower, this morning. The Secretary-General of the University Council, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, the university’s vice presidents, deans and vice deans of faculties and supporting deanships were also present.

The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Secretary of the University Council, Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin, stated that the council agreed to appoint 8 Saudi faculty members to the rank of lecturer, and to continue or approve the scholarships of (29) teaching assistants and lecturers, both male and female to pursue master’s and doctoral degrees. In different specializations, master’s degree to (2) male and female students was awarded, and it was agreed to alter study plans for graduate programs (PhD, master’s, and higher diploma) in accordance with the three-semester system for the academic year 1444 AH.​
