Jazan University: Media Department

His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, congratulated His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, on the occasion of the university’s obtaining advanced positions in the Scimago international classification, which is concerned with ranking the world’s distinguished universities in scientific research.

His Highness said: "We have seen the advanced ranks achieved by Jazan University in the Scimago classification, by obtaining 12^th place among Saudi universities, 44^th place among Arab universities, 88^th place among universities in the Middle East, and 526^th place worldwide." His Highness added that this achievement confirms its research excellence and reflects the efficiency and distinction of its management, professors and students. His Highness also praised the university's top position in the field of dental research, as it came third nationally, fourth in the Arab world, and seventh among Middle Eastern universities; as well as third nationally for its research in zoology, ENT and pathology.

His Highness, the Governor congratulated the University’s employees and students on this occasion, asking everyone to exert maximum effort and hard work to achieve the goals of the National Vision 2030 under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, May God preserve them, and hopes that the University shall continue its march towards development and excellence locally and internationally.
