To develop field training programs, College of Engineering at Jazan University organizes "Field Training Partners" forum

The first forum for field training partners, was organised by the College of Engineering at Jazan University yesterday morning at the College of Arts and Humanities auditorium. It witnessed a wide discussion between the training authorities and the college’s employees and students about developing prospects for field training, and providing quality training opportunities for college students so that they could gain experience and compete in the labor market.

The Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ahmed Abu Taleb, stated that the forum enjoyed the support and follow-up of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani. As the President supports graduates of the University and the College of Engineering to achieve Saudi development and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, adding that the forum was launched under the auspices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Ishaq. It was attended by about 400 stakeholders, beneficiaries and students, as well as a number of field training and employment agencies from the public and private sectors, such as Aramco, the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf”, the Saline Water Desalination Plant in Al-Shuqaiq, the South Cement Factory in Jazan, the Municipality of the Region and the Port of Jizan, and the Company Jazadco.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Taleb praised the efforts of the college’s vice deans, heads of departments, professors and students in organizing the forum.
