Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Naief Azyabi, affirmed that the University is proud of the community services provided by professors and students of the College of Medicine, and is proud of the presence of competent medical professionals that contribute to the promotion and development of the health sector.

This came during the inauguration of the Faculty of Medicine’s Day for Community Service event at the faculty’s campus in the University City, in the presence of the University’s Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan Ishaq.

The Head of the Community Service Unit, Dr. Musa Mubaraki, reviewed the community services provided by the College of Medicine during the five years, by establishing 52 awareness programs and participating in 15 international days, benefiting more than 600,000 beneficiaries, with the participation of 231 male and female students and 52 faculty members.

He added that the college implemented 20 volunteering campaigns with the participation of 510 volunteers, benefiting more than 75,000 beneficiaries.

For his part, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Anwar Makin, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, for his support of all initiatives, activities and events conducted by the College of Medicine, stressing that the college has competencies in the academic and student side and people who always strive to do their best.

The event concluded with the inauguration of a number of Ramadan programs and events, including Ramadan Majlis program, Ramadan podcast, and Saraja and Haja, which are implemented by the College of Medicine in partnership with the General Administration of Public Relations and Media.
