Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, urged the university’s employees and students to compete for excellence and creativity; while praising their hard work and dedication in performing their tasks with distinction. His Excellency also congratulated the winners and of the awards and appreciated the efforts of those in charge of the committees that conducted the awards.

This came during His Excellency's sponsorship of the fourth session of Jazan University Excellence Awards, which is organized by the University Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship represented by the Deanship of Academic Development at the College of Arts and Humanities auditorium this morning, in the presence of the University's vice presidents, deans of colleges, faculty members and award winners.

The ceremony began with a visual presentation that included the opinions and impressions of the award winners, followed by a speech by the Dean of Academic Development, Dr. Ali Hindi, in which he thanked His Excellency the President of the University for his continuous support for creativity and excellence. He also congratulated the award winners, urging them to exert more effort. Student Amna Muhammad Harboush from the College of Business Administration gave a speech on behalf of the award winners.

After that, His Excellency the President, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussain Al-Qahtani, honored the winners of the award in its various categories, and they were as follows:

Excellence for Faculties category: the first position Faculty of Dentistry, the second Faculty of Medicine, and the third: the Faculty of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

Excellence in Social Responsibility: General Administration of Medical Services at First position, second College of Medicine and College of Dentistry also at second, third Deanship of Student Affairs.

Academic Department Excellence: First: Computer Science Department, Second: Medical Laboratory Department, Third: Mechanical Engineering Department.

Website Excellence: First: College of Dentistry, second: College of Nursing, also at second: College of Computer and Information Technology, third: University College in Sabya.

Personnel Excellence:

The first is Ibrahim Ahmed Ibrahim Masmali - the General Administration of Medical Services and the Operation of the University Hospital, the second is Noura Muhammad Musa AlaAllah College of Applied Medical Sciences, at third is Hassan Muhammad Ahmadi Al-Azeer, College of Dentistry.

Excellence for scholarship students - scientific and engineering majors. The

first is Hanan Ahmed Awdah Al-Zahrani Scientific and Engineering - University College in Al-Ardah.
