Jazan University: Media Department

Jazan University, represented by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, will host the activities of the “Bus of Ideas” tour organized by Monsha’at, in order to receive the pioneering ideas and projects submitted by university students, which started yesterday morning, and will last for two days at the campus of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology.

The Center’s Supervisor, Dr. Omaima Al-Badri, explained that the Bus of Ideas Tour project is one of the programs launched by the Monsha’at Authority, in order to stimulate the spirit of entrepreneurship among university students from various disciplines, encourage innovators with distinguished ideas, and indicated that the support will be provided to the team with the winning pioneering ideas. And they will be given the opportunity to connect with investment and funding agencies.

For his part, the Director of the Project, Mr. Sultan Al-Sharif, explained that the Monsha’at Authority seeks, through these pioneering tours, to raise the awareness among students, faculty members and university employees to draw interest towards entrepreneurship, review pioneering experiences across the Kingdom, and provide consultations in the field of entrepreneurship.
