Jazan University: Media Department

His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, sponsored this evening the University' graduation ceremony of 11,000 students who represent the seventeenth batch, at the open amphitheater in the University City.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by the graduate from the College of Sharia and Law, student Nawaf Akish. After that, the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and great gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, on behalf of the university’s employees. He thanked profusely His Highness King Salman and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince - may God protect them - for their support of the university’s employees and students, adding that, thanks to God, and then thanks to them, our country lives in abundant security and steady prosperity in the light of successive reforms and successive achievements. We have proven that the country is capable, by the grace of God and then with the determination of his sons and daughters to achieve hopes and aspirations and face all challenges to develop and build the community and the region, and to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030. His Excellency also praised His Highness, the Governor of Jazan region and His Highness the Deputy Governor for their support of the University’s employees and their participation in the joy of the graduates on this momentous day.  

After that, the graduate of the College of Sharia and Law, Saud bin Muhammad Al-Sumaili, recited a poem, after which the graduates’ speech was delivered on their behalf by the graduate of the College of Pharmacy, Musab bin Muhammad Faqihi, during which he expressed the thanks and appreciation of all the graduates, to the wise leadership - may God protect them - and to His Highness the Governor of Jazan region and His Highness his deputy for their continuous care, support and motivation for the university's programs towards their male and female students.

This was followed by the movie announcing the result for the academic year 1443 AH. After that, the graduates chanted the oath behind the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmed Fahki. At the end of the ceremony, a memorial photo was taken of His Highness the Governor of the region with the graduates.
