The Fifth sports season for female students concludes at Jazan University

The activities of the fifth sports season of the Jazan University Championship for female students, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, in King Faisal Sports City in Jazan, concluded after 4 days.

The first and second day of the competitions witnessed the football championship, with the participation of 30 female students from 8 faculties. The Vice Dean of Student Affairs for the female section, Dr. Ashwaq Othman Al-Bakri, felicitated the winning colleges, where the University College in Al-Ardah won the first place, the University College of Samtah came in second, and at the third position was the College of Applied Medical Sciences.

On the third day, the basketball competition began, the results of which were: University College in Al-Ardah won gold, the College of Applied Medical Sciences at second place, and the University College of Samtah in third place.

On the fourth day, the table tennis competitions were held, in which 8 female students from 4 colleges participated.

 The College of Business Administration won the first place, the College of Design and Architecture at second position, and College of Computer Science and Information Technology was placed third.

The activities of the fifth sports season were concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and a speech by the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for the female section, Dr. Ashwaq Al-Bakri, who congratulated and blessed all participants for the success of the fifth sports season for this year.

Dr. Al Bakri extended her sincere thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani for his continuous support for all activities that concern the student, and sincere thanks to the Vice President for Student Affairs (Female Section), Dr. Fatima bint Abdul Aziz Aqili for her care and interest in all matters related to female students. She also thanked the affiliates of the Vice Deanship for Student Affairs on the success of this season.
