Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and the CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, His Excellency Mr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhai, signed a cooperation agreement to provide training and advisory services, carry out studies and research, and exchange experiences. The agreement was signed today morning in the administrative tower of the University City.

His Excellency the President of the University indicated that the agreement works to build strategic and effective partnerships, including cooperation in the field of scientific research, work on the development of specialized master's programs, cooperation in holding scientific conferences and seminars, and support for research and scientific studies in the field of food, nutrition and public health that serve members of society.

For his part, His Excellency Mr. Hisham bin Saad Al-Jadhai praised the excellence of Jazan University and its scientific competencies of faculty members and students, expressing his admiration for the organized and creative work he witnessed during the tour that included the faculties of pharmacy, applied medical sciences, the Psychotropic Research Center, the Medical Research Center, and the University Hospital.

He stressed that the cooperation between the SFDA and the university achieves the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, and that the authority will work to benefit from distinguished experts at Jazan University to participate in the advisory committees in the authority, in addition to the contribution of university students in the awareness roles of food and drug safety.
