Vice President for Student Affairs (Female Section) Dr. Fatima bint Abdul Aziz Aqili, inaugurated the fifth sports season in the gymnasium of King Faisal Sports City in Jazan, in the presence of the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for the female section, Dr. Ashwaq Al-Bakri, deans and vice deans of colleges, female deanship staff and female students.

For her part, Dr. Ashwaq Al-Bakri welcomed the university’s vice-dean, deans of colleges and all attendees to the event, stressing that organising these sports events and championships is to build a national model for university sports in line with international best practices. It is to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s vision related to physical and sports activity, which is witnessing increased participation from students with different abilities, levels and goals, so that university sports will be one of the biggest supporters of the nation’s sports.

The season’s competitions include sporting events in volleyball, football, basketball and table tennis.
