Jazan Governor sponsors the graduation ceremony of the 17th batch at the University

His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jazan Region, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad, Deputy Governor of the Region, shall patronize the 17th graduation ceremony of 11,000 male and female students at the open amphitheater in the university city. The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday evening, February 22, coinciding with the Saudi Foundation Day.

His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, expressed his thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the wise leadership for the generous support and interest in education. His Excellency also expressed his thanks to His Highness, the Governor of the region for his continuous care of the university graduates and his keenness to meet with them and encourage them towards excellence in academics and their professional lives, and to His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sheikh for his follow-up, support and keen interest in university education in the Kingdom and its development.

His Excellency affirmed the university’s pride when its celebrates the founding day, our glorious past and heroism of the ancestors. And this day’s celebration is combined with the  graduation of the seventeenth batch of its students who are passionate about building their present and realizing the aspirations and achievements for their unique homeland in its unity and great leadership.

His Excellency said that the attention and follow-up that the university received from His Highness the Governor of the region and His Highness his deputy and follow-up from His Excellency the Minister of Education is evidence of interest in the university and its pioneering role in achieving the aspirations of the leadership for sustainable development in accordance with the ambitious National Vision 2030.
