The College of Computer Science at Jazan University to organize the “Digital Games Development Hackathon” competition

Jazan University invited its students to register for the hackathon competition "Global Digital Games Development", which the University will host in person at the campus of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology from January 27-29, 2022. It is being held for the first time in the Kingdom.

The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Bassem Abu Mismar, informed that registration is available through the link:  https://forms.office.com/r/5H4JuPp1J5

There will be prizes for the winners, and priority in the seats will be given for early registration.

Dr. Abu Mismar explained that this competition shall be a global event that aims to gather those interested in developing games to design and develop them. The participants in this gathering work to design rapid prototypes for games by creating inspiring new ideas that could contribute to the growth of the games industry in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Abu Mismar indicated that the university has prepared a venue for holding the competition, holding workshops offered by elite trainers in the game industry, and providing a space for creativity and exchange of experiences in a way that contributes to the development of innovations and technical industries, where everyone participates in the competition in a unified topic that will be announced before the start of the competition.
