Jazan University: Media Department

The Committee for the Development of Scientific Research Policies in the Fields of Social Sciences and Humanities at Jazan University held a scientific forum targeting members of the Scientific Council, members of the Council of the Deanship of Scientific Research and researchers in the fields of social and human sciences through the “Zoom” platform.

The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin, opened the session by welcoming the attendees, stressing the importance of the forum to come up with recommendations that raise the quality of scientific research in the fields of social and human sciences.

After that, the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Ibrahim Qasadi, presented a scientific paper that included the most prominent policies regulating the implementation of research at Jazan University and their connection to the university’s research strategic plan and its research priorities.

The forum was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ali Zakri and the attendees enriched the discussion panel in which the views of researchers and employees of university faculties were shared with the developmental views of scientific research policies in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
