Jazan University hosts the opening ceremony of "Jazan Winter Festival"

This evening, the Jazan Winter activities will start at the University City, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the region, and in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the region.
The official spokesman of Jazan University, Mr. Musa Muharraq, said that the university is a strategic partner for the Jazan Winter festivities and explained that the event is a turning point in the entertainment industry in the region. It will be an important event that reflects the pioneering role of Jazan University in developing the quality of life, which is one of the most important pillars of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and which has the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince - may God protect them.
Muharraq stressed that Jazan University has harnessed all its capabilities and human resources during the past months to prepare and organize for the launch of the Jazan Winter activities, under the follow-up of His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei Al-Qahtani. More than 120 organizers working in the organizing committees represent a number of vice presidencies, deanships, and public administrations, such as the University Vice Presidency, Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship, Deanship of Student Affairs, the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education, General Administration of Public Relations and Media, the General Department for Operations and Maintenance, the General Department for University Safety and Security, the General Projects Department, the General Department for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the General Department for Medical Services and the Operation of the University hospital.
Muharraq indicated that the site for the opening ceremony of the festival is distinguished by its unique location through its view of the university's lake and water canals, as well as the university's open amphitheatre, which is a developmental landmark and an important part of the entertainment industry in the region, as it accommodates more than 12,000 people, and the university completed this project in 2019.
