Jazan University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Rasin, chaired the supervisory committee meeting for the project and the initiatives for “Enhancing the efficiency of Research and Scientific Studies in Arabic in Saudi Universities”, which is one of the projects of the National Ministry of Education. A number of deans and chairs of the executive committees were also present at the meeting held in the administrative tower in the University City this morning.

Dr. Abu Rasin stated that the project is based on three axes represented in reviewing and developing the current research policies, in addition to reviewing the efficiency of scientific research, and the researcher's distinction in terms of qualification, training, and motivation.

He pointed out that the University is preparing to organise scientific forums accompanied by many discussion panels and workshops, in order to contribute towards improving the quality of research and scientific studies in Arabic language, in which elite faculty members and specialists from various humanitarian and social organisations participate.
