His Excellency Jazan University President, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussain Al-Qahtani, issued a number of appointment decisions and re-assignments, including the appointment of Dr. Abu Al-Qasim Ahmad Masmali as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs at the College of Sharia and Law, the appointment of Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Hadi Al-Hazmi as Vice Dean for Research and Development at the College of Medicine, and the appointment of Dr. Ibtisam Ali Masmali as Vice Dean of Deanship of Scientific Research, the renewal of the assignment of Dr. Ali bin Taher Sumaili as Supervisor of the Legal Department, the appointment of Dr. Abdul Rahman Musa Khamaj as Head of the Industrial Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, and the appointment of Dr. Fathi bin Ali Jareibi as Head of the Information Technology and Security Department at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, and the assignment of Dr. Wafaa Hassan Ahmed Zakari is an Assistant Head of the Industrial Engineering Department at the College of Engineering.​
