Jazan University: Media Department

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussain Al-Qahtani, stressed the importance of increasing scientific publications for scholarship students, keeping pace with the transformation in the Saudi university system, and incorporating the regulations related to scholarships.

This came during his sponsorship of a meeting organized by the General Department of Recruitment & International Cooperation, entitled "The Role of Scientific Departments in Improving Scholarships", in the presence of university vice presidents and heads of scientific departments; and a number of faculty members at the College of Business Administration auditorium this morning.

The Supervisor of the General Administration of Recruitment & International Cooperation Dr. Saeed bin Abdullah Musa, reviewed statistics on male and female students on scholarships at the university, their countries of scholarship, and their specializations if they are keeping pace with national development plans. The Assistant Head of the Law Department and member of the Permanent Committee for Scholarships and Training, Dr. Fatima Shihabi, explained "The role of the scientific department in the scholarship journey."

The floor was opened for discussions and inquiries, during which His Excellency the President presented a number of perceptions, observations and suggestions.
