Student Guidance Forum discusses "Advising Excellence" at Jazan University

Jazan University Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Ishaq, confirmed that the Student Guidance Forum has achieved many milestones and provided integrated guidance and counselling services for university students. Dr. Ishaq pointed out that the exchange of experiences and views of successful colleges and highlighting them has proved beneficial to others as well.

Dr. Ishaq indicated that providing counselling services and developing the skills of students contributes to achieving academic excellence, psychological compatibility and competition in the labor market.

This came during the launch of the "Third Student Advising Forum", organized by the University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs and under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani. 

The Supervisor of the Student Advising Center, Dr. Ibrahim Qassem Al-Yami, gave a presentation on the center's contributions, the guidelines, and the statistical reports of the faculties, indicating that the guide is available on the website of the Deanship of Student Affairs.

The third forum included three sections that were as follows: The first one was "Promoting Counseling Excellence", the second came under the title "Distinguished Mentor", and the third was titled "Excellent Counseling Experiences".

The papers presented varied, bearing different titles and successful experiences in many faculties of the university, both male and female.
