Under the slogan "My homeland needs me", Jazan University announces a competition to create awareness about Drug Abuse Prevention

Jazan University announced a competition to create awareness on the harmful effects of drugs under the slogan “My country needs me,” a national campaign in which University students and the community participate.

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Anwar Makeen, explained the categories and rules of the competition: 1) Short films category: the video should be awareness-raising about the harmful effects of drugs, the duration of the clip should not exceed 3 minutes, and more than one student is allowed to participate in the production of the film, 2) Fine Art and Arabic Calligraphy: Awareness work on drug abuse, and more than one student is allowed to participate in the same work. The Participation Branch has an awareness tweet about the harms of drugs in the hashtag accompanying the competition, and the tweets are sent to an email [email protected]  accompanied by the name and enrolment number of the university student. The last date for receiving all entries falls on Thursday, 27 Rabi’al-Thani, corresponding to December 02, 2021.
