A delegation from Jazan University visits the Aramco refinery in the region

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, accompanied by a delegation from the university visited the Jazan refinery operated by Aramco. The delegation included university vice presidents and deans of colleges.
The University delegation was received by the Vice President of Aramco, Eng. Suleiman Al-Barqan, senior executives and engineers in the company. During the meeting, they discussed ways of scientific and training cooperation between the two parties and agreed to sign a partnership agreement between them to meet the requirements of the labor market and enable the university’s graduates to receive appropriate training and job opportunities and raise their skills in distinctive work environments that would enable them to serve their country with high efficiency.
Dr. Al-Qahtani stressed the importance of cooperation with Aramco, exchanging experiences and capabilities and benefiting from them in the field of human resource development, in addition to the possibility of initiating summer training programs for university students. He stated the importance of implementing such programs in developing students' capabilities and enabling them to take advantage of career opportunities in the company and its various sectors.
For his part, Eng. Al-Barqan thanked the President of the University for the visit and commended the research that has been undertaken and which covers a number of topics. He also praised the efforts made by the university to raise the quality of its graduates and their skill to make them capable to meet the requirements of the labor market.
