Aimed at vaccinating school students Jazan University increases the mobile COVID vaccination centers to 24
Jazan University has increased the number of mobile centers from 17 to 24, to provide coronavirus vaccines after launching this morning 7 additional centers distributed over the region’s schools, to serve school students in the Jazan and Sabya Education Departments.
The Supervisor of the General Administration of Medical Services and the Operation of the University Hospital, Dr. Madani Al Issa, explained that the launch of the mobile centers comes as part of the national campaign to immunize the people with the Coronavirus vaccine; and based on the University’s role in serving the community with the follow-up and support of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani.
Dr. Al Issa indicated that increasing the number of mobile vaccination centers to 24 centers in various schools in the governorates aims to expand herd immunity and ensure the safe return of education personnel in the region, noting that it receives students during the evening period from 3 pm to 10 pm.
It is noteworthy that the Coronavirus Vaccination Center at the University Hospital headquarters provides 106 clinics, and provides its services to all members of society, university employees and general education students.
