Jazan University students post excellent results in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) exams
His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, expressed his immense gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God preserve them – on the occasion of the University graduates achieving top positions in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties exams. Dr. Al-Qahtani also praised His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Nasser Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Jazan region, and his Deputy His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Abdulaziz for their interest and continuous follow-up of the University’s progress and their sponsorship of its programs and development plans. He also expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Education for his keenness and constant guidance that support and motivate the University students and its employees. He also thanked the colleges that now have the best programs and study plans, in addition to the distinguished faculty members and the administrative and financial support enjoyed by the University’s colleges.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Ishaq, informed that the University witnessed this year an increase in the number of examinees and a high percentage in the number of those who passed, placing them among the top-performing universities. He thanked the faculty deans, faculty members and students for this distinction.
The Dean of the College of Nursing and Chairman of the Permanent Coordination Committee for the Deans of Health Colleges, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Yahya AlArishi, explained that the results achieved by university students reflect the efficiency of the university’s graduates and the efficiency of its staff and the great effort that is being made to prepare students for the labor market through the best and most updated programs and study plans.
Dr. Al-Arishi explained that the final results showed that the College of Nursing at Jazan University achieved second place among Saudi government and private universities and colleges in terms of the number of applicants, as the number of examinees from the College of Nursing and Nursing Departments in the governorates increased to: 928 applicants, and their success rate reached 89%, while graduates from the College of Dentistry posted a success rate of 94%, and the graduates of the College of Medicine have a success rate of 92%.
