Jazan University has finished its preparations to celebrate the 90^th National Day “remotely” amid joy that pervades all parts of the country to celebrate the anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom by the late King – God willing – King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman, may God rest his soul. The university shall commemorate the special occasion this Wednesday, corresponding to September 23, the joy of the homeland under the slogan “Mettle to the top.”

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, on behalf of the university’s employees and students, congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense – May God preserve them – and the honorable Saudi people on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 90^th National Day, and we express our pride in the dear homeland and the sacrifices and heroism of its sons and daughters.

His Excellency explained that the university’s celebration for this year takes a different character due to the different circumstances that the world is experiencing due to the pandemic and there is the need to be careful and adherence to social distancing is paramount. He stressed that the university includes more than 60 thousand students studying in 23 colleges, between 100 academic and qualitative specialties who share the joy of celebrating the National Day. A number of events, programs and activities shall be conducted by colleges and deanships “remotely” to instill supreme patriotic values ​​and that will highlight the nation’s achievements.
