Jazan University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, announced a competition for University students on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 90th National Day “Mettle to the Top” to express their feelings towards their beloved homeland.
The Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Othman bin Musa Hakami, explained that the competition includes six categories: video making, photography, digital drawing, prose, poetry writing, and the best national tweet.
AlHakami indicated that the competition aims to spread national awareness, enhance patriotic feelings towards the homeland and sense of pride, explore the creative talents of University students, and ensure their artistic development. The Deanship has allocated cash prizes to the winners of the competition, which shall be open till 6th Safar.
Al-Hakami urged university students to submit their entries via a link dedicated to the competition on the university’s portal, stressing that, by launching these type of competitions, the Deanship seeks to activate student activities that contribute to the development of capabilities, skills, academic progress and extracurricular activities for the University’s students.
