Jazan University increases the intake for Diploma Programs by 30%

Jazan University increased the number of admissions to diploma programs at the Deanship of Community Service for the first semester of the academic year 1442AH by 30%. His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, confirmed that the University, based on its societal responsibility, has increased the intake for diploma programs to meet the region’s needs for consistent training and rehabilitation programs and courses as per the goals of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision and the requirements of modern development.

The Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education at the University, Dr. Ahmed Musa Hantoul, explained that the number of candidates for admission to the programs and diplomas of the Deanship totalled more than 6,542 students for the academic year 1442 AH, while the available programs offered are 17, including a Diplomas in hospitality and tourism, medical secretary, medical records, in addition to Editorial and secretarial diploma, a diploma in geographic and information systems, in public relations, in addition to a higher diploma in law, and a higher diploma in the prevention of Drug Abuse and Psychotropic Substances.

Dr. Hantoul indicated that the Deanship is working to provide specific training and rehabilitation programs, to support the labor market and provide employment to qualified and trained Saudi cadres in order to enhance the University’s role in the development of the community’s youth and region, based on the Kingdom’s 2030 vision and the University’s ambitious plans.
