The number of participants in the competition in the 90th National Day online competition launched by Jizan University “Mettle to the Top” received entries from than 400 participants from the student community of the University.

The Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Othman Hakami, explained that the competition included six categories: video making, photography, digital painting, prose, poetry writing, and the best national tweet.

Dr. Al-Hakami pointed out that the competition aims to spread national awareness, enhance belonging and pride in the homeland, to explore the creative talents of University students, and ensure their development, encouragement and care.

The results were as follows: Film-making: Amal Hassan Zakry “Faculty of Design and Architecture”, Photography: Areej Jaber Hantoul “Faculty of Design and Architecture”, Poetry composition: Amr Ali Hakami “College of Medicine”, Hassan Muhammad Ghazwani “College of Applied Medical Sciences”, Prose writing: Reham Issa Ajibi “College of Medicine”, and Atheer Ali Al-Yamani “College of Medicine”, digital painting: Shaima Abdul-Ilah Mangri, and Taif Khaled Masoud “College of Design and Architecture”, Best tweet: Aisha Abdul-Wahab Al-Halibi, “College of Medicine,” and Wijdan Ibrahim Suhail, “Farsan University College.”
