The University Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research represented by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Jazan University organized a workshop entitled “The Ministry of Education Initiative for Institutional Finance – Implementation Plan for the Jazan University Strategy for Research and Innovation 2020”. In attendance were the University’s Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin, faculty members, college coordinators and persons interested in scientific research at the theatre of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems Monday morning.

The Dean of Scientific Research, Dr.Ahmed AbdulHaq explained that the workshop aims to involve the University faculty members in the implementation plan of the Jazan University strategy for research and innovation that was adopted by the initiative, to review the executive plan for research and innovation for the year 2020 and to motivate researchers at the University to participate in the plan.

The workshop started with a presentation of the Ministry of Education’s initiative for institutional financing, after which Dr. Ahmed AbdulHaq reviewed the implementation plan for research and innovation of the University for the year 2020, the support and implementation mechanism, the pillars of the Ministry of Education’s initiative for institutional financing and the stages of preparing Jazan University’s strategy. 50 attendees benefited from the workshop, as it was broadcast live for all faculty members in colleges, taking into account the precautionary measures to prevent coronavirus.
