Within the framework of supporting innovators from the region, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Jazan University welcomed the inventor, teacher, Ms. Afrah Mouzanah, and high school inventor, AlDurrah Abu Heiba. They were briefed on the various services provided in developing prototypes and preserving intellectual property rights and the procedure to use them in order to develop and promote their inventions under the umbrella of Jazan University. The center offered them with full support for all the laboratories, expertise, consultations and experiments they needed in this field.

It is noteworthy that Ms. Afrah Mouzanah has won the first place in the distinguished teacher category in the Department of Education in Jazan, and one of her most important achievements is that she obtained a number of patents from the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and the Saudi Intellectual Authority in addition to her excellence in the literary and poetic side, along with many honors and rewards.

The student, Al-Durra Abu Heiba, presented several inventions, most notably the mine detector and its unmanned aircraft.
