A Canadian University nominates a scholarship student from Jazan University for the Chief Physician Award

McMaster University, Canada has nominated the Jazan University scholarship student, Ali bin Muhammad Sumaili, for the Chief Resident Award for the year 2020.
For his part, Ali Sumaili, expressed his happiness to be considered for this position, and said that the confidence of doctors and consultants at McMaster University in him puts a great responsibility on him. It motivates him to perform the tasks and duties to the best of his abilities, and in a way that reflects the excellence of the scholarship students from the Faculty of Medicine at Jazan University.

Ali Sumaili confirmed that what Jazan University under the directives of His Excellency the University President Prof. Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani offers great support, encouragement and follow-up to scholarship students in countries of the world and that has contributed to many achievements that embody the honorable image of the nation’s young men and women on scholarships. Al-Sumaili thanked the Cultural Attaché in Canada for his continuous support to the students in the scholarship program, and for his interest in everything that would raise the standards and performance of the Saudi doctors.

While the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Hassan Abu Rasin congratulated Ali Sumaili, stressing that the distinction of Jazan University stems from the achievements of its scholars who represent the country well, wishing him and the scholarship students all the success.

It is noteworthy that Sumaili holds a Canadian fellowship in internal medicine, and is currently on a scholarship to study sub-specialization in the digestive system and endoscopy. The number of male and female students on university scholarships who are continuing their studies abroad has reached 538 in 14 countries around the world.
