320 beneficiaries of the University College Sabya’s “Ninety Devices” initiative

The Vice Dean Student Affairs (Female Section), Prof. Dr. Aisha bin Hassan Zikri, inaugurated the “Ninety Devices” initiative that was conducted by the University College Sabya this Tuesday, in the lobby of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems Campus.

Dr. Zikri emphasized that this initiative comes within the activities of the university to celebrate the 90th National Day and is extremely important to cater to the needs of students and employees of the University in providing safe and integrated software and online programs. Over 320 applicants registered to avail this service, including 220 students and 100 faculty members and administrators.

Dr. Badriya Al-Zahrani, the Dean of the University College Sabya, explained that students were received according to precautionary measures from the early morning hours and provided the required service for their PCs, Laptops and mobile phones. The specialists from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems and the Deanship of E-Learning and Information Technology contributed towards the success of this initiative.

The services, which will continue until tomorrow, Wednesday, include: computer maintenance, providing instructions for updating the softwares, installing and explaining the platforms and study systems, and using the platforms via mobile.
