The “Cultural Street” signifies the pledge of allegiance by Jazan University students

Jazan University celebrates the sixth anniversary of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s – may God preserve him – ascension to the throne and taking over the reins of government. A number of activities are being launched by the Deanship of Student Affairs and implemented by University students in the Cultural Street in the northern corniche of Jizan on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 under the patronage of His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani.

The Dean of Student Affairs at the University, Dr. Othman bin Musa Hakami, explained that the activities are to commemorate the event that is dear to all of our hearts and highlight the meanings of loyalty, patriotism and obedience to our rulers.

Dr. Al-Hakami stated that the activities that will be implemented with the participation of University students have been designed to include cover creative fields, giving students the opportunity to explore their creative abilities and energies to express their loyalty and belonging to our country and our wise leadership, may God support it. He added that the activities will include: “Drawing, Theater, cinema, music, poetry, and photography to show the growth and development the nation witnessed during the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – and be proud of Saudi achievements and national cohesion.

Dr. Al-Hakami noted the support of His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Mar’ei Al-Qahtani, who always offers university students all support and provide opportunities for them to present their creativity based on the importance of the university’s role in strengthening the sense ​​of belonging and citizenship among its students, by creating a suitable environment for students to develop their talents through such activities and events.
