His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Jazan Region, launched in his office today the Jazan University campaign to promote intellectual security and confront extremism under the title: “Together Against Intellectual Extremism” in the presence of his Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Mar'ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and the Supervisor of the Intellectual Awareness Unit at Jazan University, Dr. Muhammad Al-Khudi.
His Excellency the President of the University stressed that the campaign aims to warn against the dangers of terrorist and extremist groups, and to confirm that the University will deal firmly with any extremist ideological violations by its employees or students, stressing the importance of consolidating the values ​​of belonging to the homeland and loyalty to the leadership, to complement the university’s efforts to enhance intellectual awareness against terrorist groups. His Highness, the Deputy Governor of Jazan, noted the goals of the campaign and the important role played by the university, to raise awareness in the community against extremism and partisanship, stressing on the moderate approach, as urged by our true religion and wise leadership, may God protect them. He wished success to those in charge of the campaign.
