In cooperation with the Presidency of State Security, Jazan University organizes a symposium to warn against the “Brotherhood” terrorist group

His Excellency the President of Jazan University, Prof. Mar’ei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, sponsored the scientific symposium organized by the University yesterday evening through “visual communication technology” in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and the Presidency of State Security.

His Excellency the President of the University stressed that the university will continue to confront every deviant and extremist ideology with firmness, stressing the importance of these programs in strengthening the unity of the citizens, rejecting division, and encouraging sense of belonging to this pure country that is based on moderation. He added that everyone must confront any deviant thought that seeks to undermine this country and its leadership or that spreads violence and terrorism.

The symposium hosted the Director General of the General Department for Da’wah and Guidance at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Amer bin Banwan Al-Anzi, who spoke about the importance of the meeting, the necessity of the group and the Brotherhood’s methods. The Presidency of State Security, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abd al-Rahman al-Halil, during his speech warned against the thoughts and dangers of the terrorist group Brotherhood.

The Supervisor of the Intellectual Awareness Unit at the University, Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmed Khudi, stated that the symposium reviewed the statement of the Council of Senior Scholars and the views of established scholars, and the means of groups and the Brotherhood in reversing and reducing this status, and warned against the thoughts and dangers of the Brotherhood, and also shed light on how to protect our homeland and our youth from Extremism and the methods used to lure individuals, young men and girls, and their means of attracting them, and instilling deviant and extremist ideas in their minds.
