INDUSTRIAL ADVISORY BOARD:
The Department of Electrical Engineering has established an advisory committee to provide advice and guidance in improving curricula, research, and professional courses in electrical engineering to meet the needs of the labor market.
In this context, members of the committee were selected from academic and industrial personalities in various fields and specializations from the public and private sectors, with expertise and knowledge.
Role:
- Provide an independent source of information and advice to the department authorities regarding the strategic issues confronting the quality of education.
- The external advisory board is not a decision-making forum. Industrial Advisory Board will determine the roles and responsibilities to best suit the particular circumstances and needs of the department.
- Develop an understanding of the industry trends and relevant academic policies.
- Provide “wise counsel” on issues raised by the stakeholders
- Encourage and support the exploration of new academic and research ideas
- To become a learning forum and act as a resource for the academia
