It is a department that specializes in designing, producing and developing high-quality electronic courses at the university, assisting faculty members in designing digital educational objects and interactive courses, and adopting international quality standards ( Quality Matters ) in designing traditional educational courses to convert them into accredited electronic courses.
Its tasks are the following:
- Producing and developing electronic courses with high-quality specifications that comply with international standards.
- Adhering to tight work procedures that take into account the various aspects of the development process in terms of educational, scientific, linguistic and technical terms.
- Designing all types of required graphics (static and animated) in educational courses, and building the general design of course screens, including the appearance of screens, icons, fonts, images and illustrations.
- Identify, prepare and produce the necessary educational resources and provide the necessary advice for the good presentation of the components of the content.
- Choosing the appropriate sequence of content components.
- Preparing tools for evaluating students' performance in the course.
- Preparing the necessary scenarios for course development.
- Preparing educational event boards (scenarios) for educational units and lessons.
- Cooperating with faculty members to produce an educational curriculum of high quality.
- Training faculty members to develop electronic courses.
- Training faculty members on learning theories, models and methodologies for instructional design in the digital content industry.
- Providing technical support to faculty members on designing digital educational objects and interactive courses.
- Provide support in writing educational objectives appropriate to the content and analysis of student needs.
